Top of the tubes.
I once dated a girl in High School and her Father told me I would never amount to anything. He was right!

Ok, then that is inline with mine currently. Think they offering a larger keel to pull the fabric tighter.

Took my boy fishing and then swimming. Bass jumping and feeding all around us but didn't catch anything. Not even a bite but had a lot of fun. Thankfully none of the other fishermen we talked to had any luck either. Unfortunately we fought the boat the entire way but it was expected until I get it fixed

Had a second day trip with the family. Took a very leisurely cruise up the Guadalupe River with my family to small rapids with very quick currents. Played around on the shore and had another great day.

Upon flipping my boat to check out the hull shape and design, I discovered a tear back underneath the transom. Not sure what from but I think it was while we got hung up on a submerged tree while out fishing.

With the layers of fabric and glue, it's difficult to fold back down. I have extra fabric available and hoping I have some glue left over from the keel replacement to fix it.

Was able to get the tear repaired. Surprisingly, the glue held a lot better than I thought it would and was able to hold the rigid multiple layers of fabric back in place. Because of the location of the tear I did two patches.

Took the boat off its trailer to fold it up in readiness for our trip away in the caravan next weekend for two weeks :star
Take a tip from me .......keep well away from the air coming out of the tubes as it stinks summit awful :!: the smell is on par with a good few pints of bitter washed down with a strong curry or kebab

Used 303 UV protectant on the tubes and plastic parts. What's the difference between that and Armor All?
