Ok, so no email sent to me, but I got a notification as seen n the image.
It also tells you the thread you got the Thanks from and who thanked you.
Click the notification and it takes you to the post in the thread.

I’m starting to see some speed issues, site not loading or very slow.

With the great assistance of one of our members (un-named until successful lol) I hopefully have a resolve.

You are our eyes & ears too. We can only look into things if we know of an issue. If things are wrong in the forum , drop us a pm/email etc.
If it’s a post that’s offensive, use the report button so one of the team can look at it and get it resolved.

Fingers crossed, Speed issues are now a thing of the past,
Broken links from google should now all work fine, and links to threads from users on here and such should all work too...

We have a very clever chap on board guys that offered his help immediatly after the upgrade issues were found, He's been as patient as hell with my working week agenda and gone the extra mile to help whilst he's been working.
Thankyou very much to ChrisParish for his wonderful work.....

You can specify how long for new posts/unread posts/active topics from one day to weeks.

Ha I’ve just figured it.....if you don’t log in ( which for some reason I don’t always.......Mac & I phone won’t “remember me”?..). The quick links is very limited with no new posts button !

To be honest Ross, the size of our forum and membership is very small for the size phpbb is designed for.
So the best button you can use is “ACTIVE TOPICS”
That’ll cover all new posts, new topics and everything.
