The Citroen Garage in Northam (Southampton) sells Vans and campers.
A new Citroen Relay is around the £18k mark give or take, depending on spec.
A Citroen Relay based camper van £58k+ depending on spec....
That's a very expensive caravan they've wedged on the back!
And i my mind i would have thought the Van would be the expensive part??? :Confused

Couldn't agree more Andy, we have been looking for a while at campervans , and I think the best way is to buy a van and convert it yourself, See t5's at crazy money, 50k+ for what, :thud basically a day van

The cost of new (and used vans) is what drove  me down the self build route. All in, everything new, it will run out about £25k, half the price of a similar new van, and still a lot cheaper than a 5 year old one. I also get what I want it's a no-brainer. 8-)

And my wife tells me boating is expensive.
I can put my boat in the van, but I can't put my van ..............

Anyway, I've just devalued it by several £K.

But luckily I got the roof light in before it rained.

:o

Just a few more holes to cut in the roof.

The reason the side door is on the drivers side of Pilotes is that in's not worth the manufacturers time to rejig, because the British market is so small compared to Europe.

Anyway it's absolutely p1ssing down here, but managed to get the drivers swivel in before it started.

No cutting holes in roofs today. :o
