No pics, cos I forgot, but took the big boat out today for first time in 10 months :D :drive :drive

Just to make you feel better Paul, Spot of fishing at the forts, I got 9 mackerel, Dad 2 feet behind me on same boat, zero!!

Then 2 small bass on Bramble Bank (schoolies) hooked through back or tail, so there will hopefully be a good amount of Bass around in years to come, never had that before

Would love to Paul, but house needs working on. If I can get Monday off to replace the Sunday work on house, may be able to join you, will keep it in mind!

Where you going?

If I remember right, that's all I was pulling out when I was at the one near Pompey with Paul, most depressing when going after Mackerel

Waiting on a call to tell me that the welding job is finished - Bunk bracket weld fractured on my alloy trailer. Weld quality was very poor, full of bubbles. Found a local guy to do the job for £30, he's even adding extra weld to the 2nd bracket to be safe. Discovered the break when I took boat off trailer last week to replace the axle. The rubber suspension blocks had collapsed, creating too much camber, which scrubbed the tyres bald on the inner 2 thirds. At least they were 4 yr old and would have been replaced soon anyway!

Think I might set up my portable electric winch to get the Smartwave back on the trailer - any fool can do it the hard way lol :erm
Why am I here - I should be in my boat fishing!!
