I am afraid the Saxador is way too expensive with in my view misleading pricing and for that reason I am out.

Thanks for your comments on the videos. It would be nice if there was more activity on here with some others posting 💁

Great videos Bigplumbs!
You're right, I tend to go into hibernation in the winter and stopping thinking about boating all the time. So not been on here for a few months yet it remains a great source of intelligent information and polite banter.
But the past few months has been different... I'm just about to start building a 7m wooden sailing boat from a kit. It may take up some of my boating weekends away but the beauty of my inflatables (Honwave 3.8 t2 and Frib 460S) is that they are so portable and at short notice too ie sunshine!
Keep posting the videos.

So we got out on the lake on day 2 and it rained a bit. We still had a good day however. Here is a little video of our day out on Ullswater

I've got mixed feelings about that jetty. Its all very nice and all but the problem is its a very narrow beach and as the season progress's it can get very busy with people wanting to launch their boats. Coupled with that you are also in direct competition with a franchise company that's operating paddle boards off that beach and they seem to think they can leave their craft from one side of the beach to the other (it can be very difficult to get back in sometimes). I can't help thinking its taking up valuable space that could be utilised for boat launching or recovery.

I must admit I did also wonder the same. We were a little early in the season so no real issues
