Oar clips

Post by Compo1804 » 18 May 2022, 09:24

Hi guys/gals,

I fancy fixing my oars on top of the tubes on the T 38 ie 3, latest model.
Does anybody know if the circumferance of the new and old oars are the same.
Ive seen some retainers on line, but not sure if they””ll fit.
Cheers
Mal

Evening Compo .. I can go measure my new t32 oars in a bit.. but are they the same as the t38. I can't imagine a reason why they would be different but in boating reason counts for nothing.

Just a quick update.
I purchased a set from ebay, genuine Honda parts, was told they would fit.
They arrived today and they DO fit, now just attach them to the sib thats left to do.
Going to use Railblaza’s VHB pad, the same as supplied with the Ribport etc.
Thanks everyone
Mal

Great stuff Mal,
The vhb is good if used correctly, I bought an odd sheet of 3m VHB on Ebay iirc.
I’ve loads of Railblaza gear from https://land-and-sea.co.uk/24-railblaza and I love it.

I’ll pass the info in to my mate who’s also just prepping his T38 ie3

Cheers,

Yes Martin, please do, if your mate needs any info, just ask, anytime.
Ive used the VHB on some Railblaza bought from Land-and- sea, great ideas on there, excellent service too, and so far its stuck to where I asked it to, which is pretty good for me really, all fingers and thumbs 👈👉🖖🖐☝️👇👍👍
