I did skim through this ......... it seems to be drifting away from the original by quite a long way :( - which is a shame.

We had huge amounts of amazing weather in 2022 and whilst we all have other demands on our time I've spent enough time having to fix old cars (not in nice workshop) to feel a little flat after this one but........
its free watching & still interesting to see the 'fix' on the bow with an original finish piece of real Avon Hypalon :)

Roll on Summer 2023 !

Glad I'm not the only one that feels the same. My son and I really enjoyed watching together, anxious for the next episode. Then it changed and my son was no longer interested. I had to force myself to finish to the end of some and then I just stopped altogether.
Wrote a note said, 'back in a minute'. Bought a boat and I sailed off in it.

While it is great to see that he is getting the boat fixed up I feel that the modifications he is making, especially to the marine electronics, make the whole thing seem less accessible. He has a thermal camera for s**t sake! I kind of liked that it was all done on a bit of a wing and a prayer but now he has corporate sponsorship from the likes of raymarine what he is doing no longer feels possible for the average low-budget boater. That camera alone is about £6000. That’s more than my entire setup cost.

Not a complete idiot - some parts are missing.
