That is going to go like shit off a wet stick! Until it gets choppy. Then your chiropractor is going to be sooooo happy!
Not a complete idiot - some parts are missing.

Not wrong there @ChrisParish.
Reckon the T38 will have to go....to fund medical treatment.

Re: Show us your Small Ribs
I haven't got one chimney, Nice setup you have there Ian, 20hp you should have great fun on that river run.
I will be doing the same taking my Elling with its 9.8hp out on Monday on a river run on Weaver at Winsford so rely excited about that fingers crossed the weather is OK.
Have you got a photo where you have your bunks positioned under the boat, just want to make sure after all the adjusting they are finally in the right place.

Re: Show us your Small Ribs
@sonny1 got more boats than chimneys (just) so all is Karma at the mo.
@Sibfisher here’s a pic. The little rib sits on the two carpeted inner bunks. The outer two are not used to support the rib and are for the T38.
TBH these bunk positions a bit irrelevant for supporting your Elling. I’d suggest the best place would be right at the outer edges of the flat hull hard up to the tubes and extending just beyond transom. Pretty sure this is how @Gray set his up which worked well.

Re: Show us your Small Ribs
Hi Ian
Thanks for the photo and advice.
I remember looking and reading about Greys supports some say they were too much of an angle?
Below is 2 photos of how I have my bunks set, they are flat and against the tubes stopping any side movement and the transom is suported, putting the boat on and off the trailer is not too difficult.
2 Questions
Do think they are at the correct angle and up tight enough to the tubes.
Or do you think they should be more of an angle and more on the tubes
Thanks for the photo and advice.

Re: Show us your Small Ribs
Both angle and position looking good there @Sibfisher
Minor comment. Toobs look perilously close to mudguards (might just be an illusion in pics), and they’ll bounce around whilst underway. Is it possible to lift bunks a tad or at least put some carpet on mudguards.

Ian
Thanks for confirming the bunks are correctly positioned I was concerned if they were right or not, I will check tomorrow as my boat is in my sons garage and let you know the gap between the tubes and the mudguards and if I can lift them higher.
