be ok with the weight of the rib ect just make sure the plate on the trailer is not rated for over the towing weight of your car ie if your car has a limit of 650kg unbraked and you tow a trailer rated up to 700kg your braking the law even if the trailer is empty

Thanks Chris :) . I really enjoy taking a boat that's a bit scrappy and unloved and giving it another ten years of life. So far this has been 2 SR4s , a 3.5 Ribcraft , a humber, a 4m Avon Adventure and a bombard or Three - in the last 4 1/2 years. I don't make money on what I do as to me its hobby and cost goes with that .

I get as much enjoyment out of fixing up a boat as driving them nowadays and the cost is about the same on the small stuff .....

Current project is a 1987 SR4 with original Yamaha 40 PTT engine . Its going to be huge fun for me over the winter and will be for sale in the spring I'm sure .

Cost so far ;

Boat as seen £2150
New Battery & cables £82
seat Trim bits & fluids £25

So for £2257 I get a very usable little boat that can go along way in any weather I'm ever likely to be out in with two people & decent deck space ....:)

I Have all sorts of bits that come with these boats I play with which is why I'm happy to give stuff away - it only fills up my garage so if it saves other spending out then its got to be a good result.

I'll also take some pics of the bits I'm happy to pass on.

I'll get some pics of the boat up when I get it all together

Funnily enough I just ordered some yesterday for my Compass. Available for either hypalon or PVC:

https://ribright.co.uk/product/paddle-holder-hypalon/

https://ribright.co.uk/product/paddle-holder-pvc/

Also from:

https://polymarineshop.com/paddle-holder-hypalon.html

Appropriate adhesives also available.

Both UK suppliers that I have used before and can recommend.
cheers
Roger

If anyone is interested Tigga the SR4 is currently undergoing a total refurbishment by Whisper on here, and will be available to purchase from him rigged with any engine of your choice, 2 or 4 stroke.

Whisper is currently building my next rib for me, Tigga 2, which should be ready in early January.
