I would be checking the weight of the model of 90hp fitted to see If it is actually heavier than a typical 80hp. How much does this particular 90hp weigh?

I’d also be checking with various insurers to see if they will provide cover for that setup

 It seems I got the max wrong, it is 90HP not 80, so if you have setup the engine trim properly, I would imagine it wouldn't be as aggressive as some of you guys think !

And check the transom carefully for any stress cracks, or signs of recent painting.
