I have a 160 litre tank inside the console it was on 3/4 of a tank when I went out last weekend and as I am running a new outboard in I was using varying rpms up to 4k I put 3.1 hours on the outboard and the needle barely moved so I'm quite pleased lol . ( haven't a clue what's left in the tank but when it gets down to half ish ill chuck another 25litre drum in )

at teatime yesterday I decided to go out today (Friday) from lymington. left at 5am arrived at 7.15 text book launch and recovery . the three hours in between were anything but. I left the harbour in bright sunshine but didn't get beyond the marker posts and a thick mist came down, visibility about 200 yards so I returned to the van and made a cuppa then went back out ,not much better. anyway went across to Yarmouth but didn't land ,it was eerie half way across not seeing land either direction . got across and turned west (ish) planning to go to the needles , got to a point opposite hurst castle and couldn't see it so returned to port. I did stretch its legs a few times for no more than a minute each time . tacho says I reached 6170 rpm at wot with the garmin reading 40.5mph. very pleased and this is the surprise I left the hull bung undone so when I retrieved the boat the hull was full and didn't stop running for at least 15 minutes and I never noticed any performance issues . I wont do it again . when I say the hull ,I mean the void within the hull :thud :thud :thud

Just recently joined and for this very reason, love hearing stories of how others use and enjoy their rides.
As for me I've only had my new SeaEagle 10.5 ft out twice since purchase (Aug, 2020) due to high winds and for very short distance. I live very close to the largest inland lake in Michigan although shallow overall 8-10 ft. but am patiently waiting for less windy days... hopefully before Thanksgiving.
Reading the forums is a nice way to bide my time ohyeh and use my imagination n tag along with all of you even though in mind only.
