I know nothing about these boats but where's the throttle gone :scratch the other side of the console I'd assume but why re-locate it drilling more holes :?

Thanks All . The throttle has been moved to the right side of the console - two schools of thought on that - it leaves the left side of the boat free of 'stuff' and as the seat is offset to the right it gives more usable space and I have preference to have the throttle under my right hand . I can do left and right but most of my own long term boats have right handed throttle .

The carbs are off the engine being ultrasonically cleaned as I type- I hope to get them back on later and be good to go later this week .

Ah - yes in the garage ..is another 4m Avon - I go that from new in 2006 and its lived inside its entire life . done about 380 hours on a 50hp yamaha 4 stroke EFI. Its my longest owned little boat :) .

:)
