Hello to Everyone

Post by Suburbian » 01 Dec 2020, 19:48

Hi!

Have been lurking around for some time, now decided to register and say Hello!

I'm in my late 40-s, totally new to boating and fishing but have caught the fishing bug lately and looking for a way to spend some time on the water and fishing.

I have done my research and put in a downpayment for the order of new Honvawe T32ie. Estimated delivery is march-april 2021... this is life on the outscirts of Europe... but it's winter time anyway so the long wait does not really matter.

I have planned to purchase electric outboard at first to go out on some smaller ponds and lakes. And then add 10hp gasoline eater to it, that would make it capable of venturing out on bigger lakes and coastal seawaters as well. But I'll work it out when the spring comes.

I actually want a univeral vessel I could take out to the sea and then trailer it to some smaller lake or river but I have learned from life that there are no universal things - if you want a thing which is for example good and cheap you have to get one good thing and one cheap thing. And of you want something powerful and portable - again you have to get yourself two things - one powerful and one portable. And the same probably goes with boats so I'll get my small portable inflatable and then I'll see about the bigger boat with cabin.

So - great forum and nice to be here.

Regards,
S.

:wavey Welcome aboard Suburbian.
A new Honwave - you’ll be the envy of many I’d say...
The new Honwave range look fantastic and now they’ve done away with the vastly unpopular trim tabs, I can see them gaining more followers.

Enjoy the forum :thumbsup

Martin :cheers
F-RibsAndSibs.Com.... :whistle
Because it's a big old WWworld out there
