Newbie looking for a sib

Hi , been fishing with a pair of moken 12.5 kayaks with my son in the southwest. Looking to buy a sib that I can handle on my own when he doesn’t want to go and also occasional trips with my wife. Will be looking for advice on gps/fish finder mounting, currently using a Raymarine dragonfly.
Many thanks for the add.

Here is my solution to powering and mounting of a fish finder.

Just some industrial Velcro in a couple of handy places on the deck to kept it in place.

Welcome barn owl,
Have a look at past & recent topics, there’s loads on different boats including ones that have no bow or stern ( strange, how they know which way they’re going beats me) I’m sure you’ll find something to help you decide.

Thanks for the advice, I like the finder/battery box idea.
Got the boat home now with a list of jobs firstly a full service on the engine, punctured launch wheel and perished trailer tyres.

Just taken my Raymarine Dragonfly off the kayak ready to fit this week. Conveniently a previous owner has fitted scotty mounts on the tubes which is a bonus.

Fitted the fishfinder/gps this evening. Ran the transponder cable through the fuel line straps on the tube. Put the battery box in the seat tidy. Just got to get some stainless cable clips to tidy the cable on the transom.
