Hi all, I'm Terry, just joined with help from Martin , :wavey i am useless on a computer ,but i could build you a house, anyway im a member now and eager to learn. off out out now for a pint (mines a ghost ship) will be asking lots of questions over the weekend.

I have a 2.7 Honwave air deck with a 3.5 mercury and I'm looking to upgrade.
I've narrowed it down to possibly four options. I have the money to buy and have looked at a few but I could do with some help deciding which route to go down.

I've been looking what you do on youtube and feel it's something I could get into. Ideally I would like to turn up next time you go out and hopefully chat to you on here to get a good start of direction.

Hi Terry and welcome to the forum. You will find all your answers in here and if you can't find it just ask. That goes for the computer stuff too. I couldn't build you a house but I just built a computer. Enjoy the forum and welcome aboard.

Turning up on one of our outings and hitching a lift in a few boats is a great way to see what different outfits are like. Most skippers can be bribed to give you a lift with sweets / biscuits / boat fuel / beer :yay

Where in the Uk are you based? We have a really active group in the south at the moment with outings getting planned frequently.

:welcome

Keep your money in your pocket until you’ve had a good read of many posts and come up with a idea of what you want.

Then chat about it on the forum as there are lots of good suggestions and info.

Then go and buy your boat and enjoy :thumbsup

I personally would want bigger than a 20hp on the ocean runner 420 (the specs say min 15 max 40 hp). The other two would be great with a 20hp.
