Just thought id say hi.Im from near Cambridge and currently looking for a sib.In no rush and looking around 2.5 k.Like the look of the honwave t40 so hopefully will get one.Used to have a jetski years ago and really miss the water so need to get back on it.May see some of you soon

Welcome to fribs & sibs community
The Honwave is a cracking sib, the t40 being the biggger and heavier of the line up. Is it an aluminium deck you’re chasing or are you aiming at the larger boat but wanting to keep the set up time and weight down ?

Just dont like the look of the air floor so want a harder option.Ideally want to keep on a trailer to totally reduce the setting up time

Have you thought about a small ish rib then, if your thinking of trailering all the time ?
I bought the F-Rib for the rigid hull, but the flexibility of storage and carrying it in the caravan. Best of both worlds

An f-rib is a foldable rib. A rigid hull (fibreglass) with folding sections.
It’s got three sections that fold up for easy transportation and storage but when unfolded and inflated they’re a small rib.

I'd agree with Martin. If you are going to trailer all the time a rigid hull boat will be much better than a Soft floor Inflatable Boat. SIBs are great because you can store and transport them easily while deflated and packed away, but a rigid hull boat is much more versatile and will perform better than a SIB. It all depends on if you have the space to store a trailer and the means to tow it.

Luckily i have the space to keep it but its finding one thats the problem.Did bid on a rib eye 310 the other day but it never made the reserve anyway at 3k which thought was a bit steep.

You should pick up an Avon SR4 for 2.5k and that will handle better than any other 4m boat ever made.
