Hello from Cornwall....

Hi all,
Complete novice to the world of Sib's, looking to purchase one in the not too near future, mainly for fishing off, currently using a kayak (kaskazi dorado) which i love even just for paddling trips
But quiet liking the thought of a sib, to get out a bit further afield and cover more ground plus take the family out with me, i normally fish the Fal estuary near St Mawes
Been looking at the Takacat range but haven't got a clue really so hopefully this forum can help!!

Welcome to the forum luckmurph. I just collected a brand new Takacat today from the boat show. Hoping to get it inflated tomorrow, and on the water in a couple of weeks time.

Thanks Chris.....was hoping to get up there and have a look but not had time!....congrats on the Takacat, let us know how you get on with it, what size engine have you paired it up with?
The 3.4 LX was the boat i was looking at!!

I opted for a 3.4 LX with open transom, and I’m putting a Tohatsu 9.8 2 stroke on the back end of it. What surprised me was the amount of deck space they have for a 3.4m boat. The 3.4 they had inflated at the show looked massive.

Hi Andy . Great part of the world to boat in. I did do a review of taskbar 3.4 on here. Have a search and read. Good guys to deal with at Hypro in Lymington.
Welcome to the forum and as long as you enjoy your boating whichever way you do it... that's the important bit!

Thanks Peter, yes thats the main reason i moved down here always loved the coastline, especially around the Roseland!
