Purchased my FRIB 375 last month with a 15hp Tohatsu and it has been great. I currently keep my boat in the Boston Harbor on a mooring ball, but love that I have the option to store the boat in a locker pretty easily without having to buy a trailer. My only complaint was with the manufacturer warranty. I somehow managed to put a tear in the boat in the middle of the harbor, but was unable to get any response back from the dealer or manufacturer. Anyways a quick $200 patch job and a loss of week of boating and then I was back in the water enjoying the boat with the family. This has been one of my best investments and I look forward to learning even more from this forum.

Respectfully,
Kevin Turner

Hi Kevin, welcome aboard from across the pond. :wavey
You've a great set up there, cracking boats with all the benefits of a sib. I too have the frib375 (Suzuki 20hp) and I love it, as you say.. it was my best purchase too!
Sorry to hear of your woes with damage, that's disheartening on anything let alone a new purchase. It's unusual for FRIB not to reply to you, have you used the contact page on their website ?

Hi Martin,

Thanks for having me. Thanks for the email address I was told to go through the dealer in Florida, which is still a 1000 miles from where I live. I was in direct contact with the dealer and at first he seemed real optimistic and told me take more pictures and it seemed like a tear in the seam, which would be on warranty. We went back and forth for about 2 weeks and I was on vacation for 6 weeks, so I finally couldn't take it any longer and just got it patched myself. I texted the dealer last week with a thanks for nothing email and he said it takes time because it's an international company. Obviously he was just blowing smoke. Anyways enough about that can't wait to get back home and enjoy the boat with the family. Oh ya I also must say this boat is very well built and made it back to a dock with no problem even with a tear. My wife was very skeptical about me buying an inflatable and I think she loves it now.

Great to hear you so cheery even after initial problems. The FRIB guys are generally great so it seems strange for a late response from them.
There are videos about on YouTube showing the FRIB with deflated tubes out on the water, not recommended as the tubes actually help support the boat on the water :? But it certainly proves how capable the hull is. :thumbsup
