F-Ribs And Sibs - Inflatable Boat Community

Hi everybody
First of all, brilliant forum you chaps have.good source of knowledge and tips.
My name is Andrew from Trawden in Lancashire and a friend of John Honwave who is a member on here.
Just on with a purchase of a zodiac classic mark 1 with a 9hp Tohatsu outboard.which is from a friend of john's.
But last weekend I bought a Tohatsu 20hp 4 stroke on a impulse buy from a member on here called Malcolm from fleetwood. Very nice chap too!!
Me and J.Honwave decided to test it on his boat last Sunday on Coniston, Cumbria.
First I was shown the ropes by J.H and told to take control. Had a real blast, moored up for some lunch then up to peel island, tested a fish finder, then told to go reluctantly back to the car.
All I can now think of is my next venture out.

That's a nice setup you've got there with the Zodiac and Tohatsu
I've the same OB as you and I'm very pleased with it I've had it just over 3 years and it's had plenty of use and towing toys not missed a beat (or have I jinxed it now)
As previously said, we're a friendly bunch of fellow like minded boaters willing to share our knowledge, so just join in and fire away with any questions you may have
There's a golden rule on here of "there's no such thing as a silly question" so never be afraid to ask

Thanks for the comments regarding the forum, we've got a great bunch on here that make it the community it is.

Plenty of us between Huddersfield and the west coast now, we'll all have to get together for a fishing trip out of Blackpool or a run to the top of ullswater and back
