Hi all, my name is Mick I'm 53.I usually lanch from the harbour club in Shoreham, my current set up is a Yamaha 310sti with a 9.8 tohatsu 2s, but I'm interested in purchasing a f-rib one day, but I love the motor so I think that's a keeper,
I would think I have read some posts from some of you on other forums, I'm a lone boater as ff have no interest, so always like to get some advice

Hi Mick

I'm Calibra on Ribnet. I don't really post on ribnet much, sometimes I just keep an eye on it for any interesting threads that may come up.
Glad you joined. When we go out I will sure send you a text and let you know just incase your free.

On the off occasion I go out alone, but I worry something like the engine breaking down lol

James

Hiya Mick & :welcome to Fribs And Sibs.
We're very lucky to have a very friendly and knowledgeable bunch of guys on here, If there's anything specific you need to know, then just yell " :help "
Its great to have you aboard with us, and I'll look forward to hearing some of your boating woes.

RE: your set up, Me personally- i need something a little bigger than the 3.1 - 3.2 m sibs, but the outboard will do you great if you do make a step up to the f-rib.
I've just ordered mine, and can't wait to get the thing :drive :drive :drive

Enjoy the forum
Martin :cheers

Mick

Since your only 10mins down the road, if you want I can sort out a time in a couple of weeks where you can come round and see me build the boat and have a good look round.

James
