Haha - not a piss-take. I try to get out c.2x a day when the weather allows between April and October. I thought of going aluminium as most of the leaks I get are in the floor because of fish spines. The tubes fare better. Most of the time the inflatable is left on the davit, but if it blows up I have to move it up c 10m and lash it to the cliff. Engine is a 2 stroke Tohatsu 5hp which will just get the SIB on the plane - but not sure about how it would perform with a light RIB.

A lighter rib would probably plane more easily than sib due to the cleaner floor.
Not a complete idiot - some parts are missing.
