New here

I'm New
My name is Tom
I have an old little zodiac fold up pvc 2.5m
and a
2.6m valiant rib was pvc but I'm making hypalon Tube for when I get time

So not sure if this is classed as advertising but my job is a boat/rib/inflatable builder and repairs in southwest (yeovil) spend most of my time on bigger ribs, but do get some dinghies and tenders pass through. I do some pvc work but prefer hypalon, imo it lasts longer as in construction, fabric wise I think it depends how they are looked after.

My business http://ribfix.co.uk

But anyway back on topic new here and thought ide say hi. I am in the market for a engine for my little rib/tender I know the rib can take up to 6hp bot sure about the zodiac think the reference plate is missing. What are your thoughts

thank you, i decided to sell the other 2 little boats and picked up a f-rib it is brilliant the engine however has been a pain in the ass, i got a 2.7 f-rib and a suzuki 15hp 4stroke it went like a bat out of hell. after a few times out the engine started playing up and misfiring, then while trying to fix that i found the top crank seal was leaking oil so was sidelined while building my bigger ribs.

i have a 5.3 ribcraft rib with 100hp on the back and a 4.8 ribcraft with a 60hp both are great boats and great fun, a bit less thrilling than the f-rib since you lose the sense of danger
