New member looking for info.
Hello all. I thought this looked like a good place to be as I am currently looking to buy an F-RIB 360 for use around the jurassic coast. They are in short supply at the moment but I have found a few that are available but accessories are not. My main concern is the launching wheels. I would be keen to hear from anyone who has fitted alternative wheels to an F-RIB as I understand the narrow transom makes this difficult without getting in the way of the outboard. The beach master wheels look good. Any other F-RIB tips from owners would be handy too. I am looking forward to being out on the water very soon!

@Stray has the Beachmaster wheels on his F-RIB 360 and they work great (and I think they look pretty awesome too)

Hi Chris.
Thats good to hear although I’m having trouble sourcing those now too. Lots of beach master “type” wheels advertised on eBay but can’t seem to find any genuine ones.
Anyway, power unit ordered today

Ooh - what have you ordered?
Have a look at pacermarine. Not sure if they are genuine beachmasters or not, but pacermarine are a reputable company.

Re: New member looking for info.
The only problem with the Beachmasters is that they are a bit short. I have to put the outboard in shallow drive when coming in to land. Other than that, they are a doddle to use, just fit them as low and as far apart (without fouling the tubes) as you can.
The "cheap" ones from Barnet Marine work fine, obviously the Beachmaster patent has run out, or they are slightly different.

Re: New member looking for info.
I have the railblaza c-tug launch wheels and find them really good for uneven and soft surfaces due to the large wheels. I have had no problems using then on grass gravel and muddy sand. They are just long enough to be able to have my short shaft outboard all the way down without touching the floor ( really useful for flushing out in a bucket ). My only frustration with them is on my Quicksilver 320 SIB the transom is too narrow to have the wheels all the way up as it interferes with steering. There are lots of slots in between and I use the second highest one. They are slightly in the water at displacement speeds (about 2cm) but on the plane are well clear of the water. I will try send a pic next time I'm out.

Re: New member looking for info.
Hi,
I've had the beachmasters on for a couple of years, I think they are fantastic, I ordered them from new zealand. Cost me a bl00dy fortune, but worth it.
I use my FRIB360 for fishing and have trailered it all over the UK. Any Qs just shout.
Thanks,
Matt.
