Will do Chris! Thanks!chris moody wrote: ↑27 Mar 2019, 15:17@richard_thomson just keep an eye on the Honwave wheels. They tend to destroy themselves after a couple of outings. You can then return them under warranty and buy the aftermarket heavy duty ones.

Re: Hi all - newbie here!
Hi Richard, Welcome to our superb little community.
The T38ie is about as good as the sibs get, a superbly capable craft that handles anything even nuttiest of us can throw at it.
It'll plod along just great with a 15hp on, and depending on load you should see a good 20+mph when you;re ready to open her up.
IMO, The genuine Honwave wheels really are a little weak & shabby i'm afraid, I'd suggest returning them before fitting them and buying the aftermarket heavy duty wheels (100kg+)
The genuine Hondamarine wheels will as Chris says, let you down. The material is thin and weak, The stubs end pin holes will elongate allowing the wheels to wobble and eventually buckle to the point they are no good.
It's a crying shame you missed out on Compo's set up, it was a remarkable price for one of the best all round set-ups i've ever seen.
Somebody git a real bargain there.
Loch Awe looks stunning, driven alongside it a good few times, I too would like to get the frib on there at some point.
Enjoy the forum

Re: Hi all - newbie here!
Thanks Martin, it is EBC I have ordered from so I will maybe drop an e-mail before it is all sent out. The Owner Richard has been pretty helpful and I feel like I got a good price for my package. Do you have a link at all for the other wheels? ThanksMartin wrote: ↑28 Mar 2019, 21:32Hi Richard, Welcome to our superb little community.

When your T38ie arrives it's also worth checking the floor. A small number of boats have had misshaped floors, so it's worth checking for that issue straight away. Don't take these comments the wrong way, the T38 is an awesome sib. It would be right up near the top of my shortlist if I was going to buy another sib.

Hi Richard and
to the forum, it's all been said before...…. you are in a cracking area for boating with a cracking boat in a cracking forum. You will have so many fantastic adventures ahead of you. Enjoy and don't forget to post your progress and we likes pics and vids too if you can manage it. It's a steep learning curve getting it all right your way but you'll enjoy every minute of it. Welcome aboard
