List of CG66 reference numbers / MMSI / etc

Post by blootac » 13 May 2015, 10:23

A list of CG66 reference numbers, MMSI and radio callsigns could be useful, especially if the worst were to happen.
I've put down f-ribsandsibs.com as my club/association.

Hopefully I'll never need it but if I do...

Do you want to do a detailed post on this Phil, as your a member of the MVS you'll prob have a bit more info to share with members other than just the links we can provide ..
Perhaps you'd like to do a post on the MVS too ???

Martin :cheers
F-RibsAndSibs.Com.... :whistle

CG66 done, the details ive given on there are pretty much the same as on SSR and ofcom, but I suppose the more know, the better.
I too put F-RibsAndSibs.Com as my club/organisation

I don't whether it's my old age or I'm going blind Phil, but I can't see anything for anyone to list??
It appears to be info for next of kin etc?

MMSI, - You have the option of adding your mmsi to your profile if you wish, it's been available for a while :scratch
Your MMSI is available if you have a ships radio license from Ofcom.

Small Ships Register I did that some time ago when I first started.

Call Sign - No call sign for portable radio's afaik , (fixed sets in vessels only) :?:
F-RibsAndSibs.Com.... :whistle
