The trouble is that after the OP with the picture content is posted the thread often gets diluted with chatter and eventually disappears into the bowls of the forum.
A thought I had was to have a dedicated Gallery for images only.
A gallery that you would be able to post your images in, give a narrative and then have the thread locked so that it remains there for future viewing.
This gallery could be on the portal page or the home page and be dedicated to F-rib and Sib content.
Not only would it be a nice resource for present members, but it would be a great way for future members to see what we get up too.
The like/thank feature could still be used as a form of feedback, It's nice to know others appreciate your efforts
