Opinions pls ...
Guys, we have a thread running that 9-R asked to be made a sticky. I'd like to add to it a bit but would like your thoughts before we do/don't do it..
"What have you done to your boat today"
How's about we alter it slightly and request each of you do a "my boat" thread?
That way it would make Internet search point to us for all the makes/models we have.
So you would title your thread to the boat you have (or former) and add the mods you've done.
So take my Honwave review, I could alter that to a my build, and add info and pics as I went along. Each of you would then have a my boat/build/review....
Thoughts please ?

Sounds good Martin.
I have posted up the mods I've made to your old Honwave recently.
Could use that thread.
I could do another with the mods made to my Honwave 3.5ae as well?

I'd welcome that Martin, sounds a good idea and a bit different from the norm

Re: Opinions pls ...
Cool. Think maybe you should layout a guide or template for us to follow? If I understand correctly, something like boat manufacturer, model, engine manuf / model / hp? Then list out mods, experience, etc?
Hopefully there aren't too many searching for info about a SeaBright... I'll just start mine off by saying, 'sucks ass' and leave it at that. done.
** note on the 'what you've done to your boat today' thread. We have it on several other forums I belong to and it stays relatively busy. I, like some of the others, enjoy reading some of the smaller things we all do that may not be 'thread-worthy' so I hope you post up! I had mentioned it to Martin because all of the discussion, hits and posts can help bring attention to the site and keep it active/growing.

Wrote a note said, 'back in a minute'. Bought a boat and I sailed off in it.

Re: Opinions pls ...
I quite like the my boat thread idea.
It's good to see how each person builds their boats and what items they have added etc.

Re: Opinions pls ...
We've started altering things round a little on the forum, so you may have to look to find the relevant place.
The - "my boat/my outboard/my build " thread is now active ... please remember to title the post correctly with the actual item.. ie Ribcraft 4.8 (my build) or Johnson 9.8 (my build)
I hope its to your satidfaction guys, if not, please don't hesitate to comment.
The forums and sub forums have also moved about a little to make it better app indexed through the search engines and easier to navigate on the forum, once you get used to the changes....
Cheers
