Launch wheels
Has anyone purchased them launch wheels from Nestaway boats for 160 quid . What a load of rubbish , went out on my F-Rib today with my neighbour and he had to lift the boat so I could try and push pins up to get it free , bad design .Not worth the money at all . I’ve ordered the beach master wheels from NZ as they look like the dogs do dahs . The pins on them wheels should be at the top surely ?

Re: Launch wheels
You will need some launch wheels of some description or launching your Honwave without a trailer will be neigh on impossible unless you always go out with other people.gratemaker wrote: ↑10 Jul 2019, 19:59Hi jonsy, thanks for that as i am thinking of getting launch wheels for my Honewave but i,ll steer clear of them.

Re: Launch wheels
I’ve got a pair of the Beachmaster copies (available on popular auction websites amongst others) on my Frib and they work superbly. The cost of importing the official items from NZ was eye watering.
I got mine from here for £152 (they’re way down the page so keep scrolling...)

Re: Launch wheels
The problem I found with mine on the Frib was when launched the buoyancy of the air in the tyre when underwater meant it was almost impossible to release the pin to allow you to lift the wheels up.
I ended up drilling and mounting a thin SS wire so that I could get a grip and pull the pin down - this works really well.
Cheers,
MM

I have found the same issue wit mt Frib375 and have many skinned knuckles and pinched fingers to prove it. Can you take a picture of you wire as the my blood in the water is only slightly pain full until some one decides to breed a fresh water shark in the Great lakes.

Re: Launch wheels
My launch wheels , I got 2 brackets with nuts and bolts . The brackets need to go in a vice to straighten them up a bit . If anyone wants to make an offer on them please do so . As my beachmaster wheels should be here in a week .
