Just fitted new outboard cover and a new boat cover. This is a size 4 Ducks back cover on my Zodiac 4.8m rib. Have to say I'm pretty happy with both of them. £100 all in. Also pleased the cover goes over the tow hitch and lock. The heavy pvc cover in the foreground sweats, is a struggle to fit as its so heavy and has rubbed some paint off my engine.

How do you stop the rain from pooling on the cover? It looks like it would pool in front of the console.

@ChrisParish I thought I would just wait and see what happens. If it does pool I will have to find a solution. Maybe a plastic pipe running from the bow to the console.

That's exactly what i do Roy if i leave mine outside with the ducksback on.
A piece of plastic waste pipe sits on the bow and outboard handle and makes a nice run off.

We also went for a size much larger than our boat (size 6) for the extra width. A bit of creative origami at the pointy end allows us to pull it taught with no ponding. Looking a bit tired now at four years old but fabric still waterproof.

how do you guys make ducksback covers last so long .i bought one and within 3 weeks there was patches where the silver coating was coming of and it was leaking badly you could hold it up to the light and see large patches of tiny holes with daylight coming through .i informed ducksback who just apologized gave me my money back and said to just keep the cover. i wasnt impressed which is a shame as there very well priced
