Had a great trip up Loch Etive today with one of our new members Peter, to give him a taster of sibling, think he could be converted and he's seriously looking at a Honwave T38 to add to his fleet, along with his 2 tin baths, ( boats)

Launched at kellies pier at Taynuilt and managed to get to the top at Glen Etive

I do like Loch Etive too Paul, it is a great destination. I especially like it in winter with snow on the mountains.

That water looks lovely. Also looks cold too. When does bikini season start on the other side of the pond?

Those pics have definitely whetted my appetite for an Etive Adventure :D
Could well be up North Ledaig in the tin tent this summer.
If so I'll definitely pop along for some fish and chips at Tralee :D .

The loch is gin clear water normally, but very very cold, it's some 20 miles long and around 1 mile wide at it widest point, and it's around 500 ft deep at its deapest, hence it doesn't get warm even in our balmy summer day

But it's such a scenic loch with plenty to see, and if your grave enough you can tackle the falls of Lora running in a spring tide :whistle
