Handling at first felt skitty but I soon got the hang of it. Top speed clocked at 12.4 knots, but engine not run in just yet, and was loaded with kit. Launched from Lake pier Hamworthy easy enough and went out to the harbour entrance where it was pretty choppy but handled it all fine. I've never had any boat or sib before so can't compare it to anything else, but it seems really well made and well designed. More to follow...Paul wrote:Looking good mate![]()
If you're still buzzing you must be more than happy with your purchase![]()
Over time it'll be great for you to report back on handling, speeds and your general comments about the craft as there's little knowledge about them 'out there'![]()
From the photos they seem very roomy in deck-space for the size, which is always welcome![]()
Thanks for posting, great photos![]()
There's hardly anything causing drag, it kind of floats over the waves!Martin wrote:12.4 knts from a 6hp, I think that’s pretty good especially looking at the choppy water.
I like the looks of that takacat, it’s something different.![]()
