February 2017 - Photo Competition

[Martin]

Sorry guys, I've been rushed off my feet and completely forgotten about this.
Winner announced tonight when my daughter picks the worthy one

[Martin]

I got home late again tonight, the nipper was in bed... so i've studied hard and finally made a decision...
I must say though, for the few entries... the quality of laughs has been brilliant.
Warder, thankyou for being the first person to respond... you set a level for people to follow
Matt, poo head - very embarrassing pic of you as a ....? tellytubby maybe ?
Paul B... Well he looks all shook up
Arcus... What can i say, "The Cat Sat On The Matt" brilliant !
Douglas.... I think yours would have won if the subject had have posted it himself (If that makes sense )
Gordon... Very Snappy
Roger, You had me in stitches with the last pic, loved it... and i think worthy of joint second place with paulB "uhhuhha"
Gwoz... Brilliant picture and i'd love to know the story behind that.. Thank god you pulled through

So that leaves first place, which i'm going to have to award to Paul...
The toenail saga had me in absolute stitches, and i think the prize should be passed onto your daughter for her absolute superbly planned plot to leave you entirely stuffed with no nail varnish remover or shoes to cover your very beautiful nails up
The winning photo is as 9-R suggests, its clever, funny, very well planned and its boatlike too in fitting with the forum.

Safety boat

So congratulations Paul...
Your turn to take the subject where no subject has gone before

1st place Paul
2nd place Roger Black & Paul B
Third Place Mattswan

Well done guys, and thanks for being a good sport

[Martin]

Erm....
I'm ever so sorry...
there appears to be a mistake .
I was given the wrong envelope..

The winner of the February 2017 oscar is

Roger Black with

"Ooooh you are awful"

See what I did there

Well done Roger, it's over to you !!!

[Paul]

Congratulations Roger a worthy winner

I'll save my acceptance speach for another time

[gwozhog]

Congrats Roger for a truly awful photo

[rogerblack]

Well I feel truly honoured, humbled and privileged to receive this magnificent award. Recognition by one's peers is always special and I'd like to thank everyone who has helped me to reach these heady heights.

I'd also like to acknowledge how magnanimous Paul has been over the little fuc... I mean hiccup over the envelopes.

And unlike all the effing snowflakes that usually make these speeches, I actually think Trump will make a GREAT US President!!!

Well I can see out of the corner of my eye Stephen Fry, or is it Ricky Gervais, making rude signs so I'd better wind up this acceptance speech.

I believe part of the prize for winning is being asked to set the subject for this month's competition so I'll give some deep, meaningful thought and start a new thread shortly.
