Hello everyone
I will have few days off between 19-28 Aug 2023 and I am thinking to go somewhere on the west coast of Scotland for a boat trip / camping ......the target could be either some Sea Lochs or Sea Coastal Waters............weather dependant obviously.
I have a small 6HP outboard which limits me at max of 15knt when possible......or 6knt at displacement speed.
If anyone finds this appealing or have a better alternative proposal, I am happy to hear it.
Please do not hesitate to get in touch.
Thank you

Hiya Jordan,
We used to do an annual meet uk the west coast around September time, always great adventures and an over night camp when possible.
The west coast is magnificent for small craft, plenty of shielding and some fantastic sea lochs..
enjoy !!!

Hi Martin
Thank you for your kind message
I will be also off between 9-19 September ......please let me know if that somehow matching your planned event for September.
I have been told that on this kind of events there is a requirement of having at least 10hp outboard......so not sure if I can participate due to the above mentioned rule......unless the one that you mentioned for September won't be so strict about this aspect.
Looking forward to hear from you Martin.

Jordan I just found your email with the invite to this. It had went to spam folder, so if you've sent a few out and got low response that must be the reason.
Unfortunately mate I'm in a worse state than u engine size wise and currently hunting for a bigger outboard.
Definitely something I would be up for in the future though Would be good to get out with folk who know a bit more than me as I really just bought a boat n jumped in it with zero knowledge or experience lol.
