Going out of here at stokes bay on sat just by the life boat station for a days fishing if any ones interested. Weather looking good so will probably go into deep water for cod.

Glad to have you Shaun,It’s life boat lane gillkicker car park, not sure where to get bait yet, no charges for slip, £10.60 for car park inc trailer. We’ll get there about 8ish but it takes about an hour to set up so on the water for 9-9.30.

The 29th is a Monday, so guessing your date is wrong. Do you mean the 20th?
Not a complete idiot - some parts are missing.

Re: Life boat lane sat 29/10/18
Sorry didn’t get back sooner,
Had a great day out, weather was brilliant, only caught a whiting and a small smoothy but sea was calm & sun was out. Several bots out at brown down bouy but they didn’t catch either.
When we were unloading the car at the ramp the life boat wanted to get out to do some training & asked how long we’d be so I moved car & trailer so they could get the life boat out. Once it was out they came over inspected the honwave which was now fully loaded & invited us both onto the lifeboat to have a look, what a great bunch of guys they were.
The only down side was we were anchored up in front of a wreck, we must have drifted a bit & the anchor got caught in the wreck, tried everything but it wouldn’t come free so in the end we had to cut it off, have now replaced with new anchor.
