Warsash to Newport harbour Isle of Wight Sat 20th Jan
I fancy doing a trip from Warsash to Newport (the capital of the IOW) at the top of the Media river. There is a good pub there for lunch (The Bargemans Rest), and time for a quick explore of Newport.
If the weather / sea state isn't conducive for a Solent crossing we can either explore Southampton Water, or if really bad head up the Hamble river.
The tides work for this on Sat 20th Jan.
Anyone fancy this trip?

I work on Saturdays and only have the first Saturday of the month off, However would always be interested in a trip out including this one.
I'm not really a Hobbit, just look like one. Real name is "Andy".

Sun 21st Jan is also a possible for this trip, depending if people prefer a Sat or Sun outing.

Yes please well up for this, although I will need to invest in some proper clothing. Might be good to stay over the Sat night so we can have a few ales and the like if anyone up for it...
