Thought I'd chuck in the idea of a cruise in company circumnavigating 'Pompey' (Portsmouth) once again via the sea front, canals and connecting harbours
It's been a popular gathering in past years, however it's always been a concern that the sea front conditions for our return to port could have deteriorated during the time the canal and port sections had been covered
With this in mind and a change to previous events, perhaps we should traverse the sea front section first to overcome this unpredictable situation
Proposed passage plan is to run clockwise like this (click image to expand)
Pompey passage plan
The tide times appear to work on the day
13th May Pompey tide times
Any thoughts or input welcomed

Hi Paul
I have Sat 13 free so interested in a day out, I haven't been to this area before, more than likely I'll have my friend Jannet coming along too, I just want to get boat out on the water one last time, we don't mind if the weather isn't perfect or a change of route if decided/needed
Cheers
Andy

Hopefully Matt and Aaron will join in with the fun

Paul some local info on this.
At current you can not get under the bridge over the eastern road at the moment as their is a scaffold barge the length of the bridge and alot of scaffolding underneath for i guess structural bridge works mate.
So the canal section with the low bridges may not be possible.....
