This is ideal for planning trips at home if you don't have paper charts or one of the paid for apps like Navionics / iSailor / MXMariner

Sorry chaps, life has been so crazy the last couple of weeks I've not visited the forum much.
Apart from the boat I was already packed from our last outing. I put the boat in the truck Wednesday evening and Thursday I started getting faint back ache which I thought nothing off as it's not unusual for me and last night its gone from ache to pain. It's OK when I stand up or lay down, go for a walk etc. The problem is when I sit down. I've been seeing a private specialist at £50 per 30mins and lucky it's not a slipped disc, it's caused by stiff muscles. Yes Martin I do have some muscles lol.

Anyway chaps, you picked a goof day for it. Have fun and get some pics up :-)

Hope you have a good day chaps, But unfortunately I'm in the grips of Man Flue!
Look forward to the pictures....

Here's to next year,
I think it's time I packed the boat away and got on with some overdue projects...

PS.
Looking out the window it looks like I made the right call :?

Brilliant trip out with Paul, MrT and Matt and Callum to visit the fort off Bembridge then west and into Cowes up the Medina for lunch.
Very choppy and wet at times for my little Honwave so not many pictures due to having to hang on!
Thanks guys :cheers

Well i can only apologise for wimping out when the hail came.......we hammered it bk to shelter in seriously calm waters. How was the medina river?
I promised scott my mates little boy a chance to fish so while the others headed up the medina we did a bit of worm drowning
20161119_125547.jpg
He caught 4 pouting.
The plan was to call them after and meet them up the medina but that did not happen
( PS Did u guys have a nice lunch?)
When the weather turned to solid heavy rain we bailed as had scott onboard....also that hail was not pleasent in the face at 38mph!!!!. Sorry to ditch u all guys. :shame

Great day on the Solent guys despite the weather, had a lovely trundle up the Medina River at Cowes and had a spot of lunch at The Folly Inn after going to see No Mans Fort. According to my calculations we did 30 Miles!

Nice to meet you again Paul, Kev (&Callum) and you Matt albeit briefly- glad the lad caught some fish ;-)

Nice to try Calshot slipway, really nice place to launch and will be back there in 2017,it would be a good place to do the round the island from !

Where shall we go for Decembers' trip?

Heres a few screenshots from today;-
