The only problem i ever had with my Tuono was the switch gear.
Had to replace both sides as it just fell apart inside!
I've ridden a few Harleys in my time, but never owned one.
Over priced and under engineered in my opinion, but i get the idea. ;-)

If the performance of this Yam is anything as good as my TDM or TRX was you'll love it mate.
We'll have to get together for a ride some time...... in the spring :D

I used to race karts and had a rotax engine and they are very good!!!, 2 stroke so a different ball game but still.

I also love the trx 850 but must have the belly pan in my opinion.......

a little later but same bike..made a few tweaks over the years too..

Aprilia EVO Titanium race exhaust,
Modded Collector (reduce scavenging between cylinders)
Evo open air box conversion with K&N air filter
Forza FR200 eprom chip

plus alot more..all set up by Griff @ Aprilia performance in Tamworth. He also set up the suspension for me too.

So i finally took my new bike out for a test ride today and it was awesome. Not ashamed to say i did the mandatory stool (of the bike not in my pants) as i went to pull off as the bite point is very high but soon got to grips with it. I took it super gingerly due to 2 x shiny slippery new tyres. Overall it was a great little 6 mile ride. One thing i noticed strait away is that the engine braking on that bike is powerfull.
Looking forward to taking her out properly when i get my new kevlar jeans and my helmet (sent one back as it was too small)

Just need to await one of those them their sunny winter days we supposedly get.......
