hi people iam off to Anglesey tomorrow and instead of taking my sib iam going metal detecting at porth wen,

How did it go, Another Saxon Hoard? or like me shotgun cases, ring pulls, and a 90's mobile phone...wonder what they were doing in a field to lose a phone? :rofl :Confused ...Anyway sold the thing shortly after, Guess it's all about location. :cheers

Everyday I sit here in traffic looking at that hill thinking ' if only I beat the other guy to it I would now be a millionaire and not stuck here in traffic:(

I like a bit of metal detecting myself, and I would like to combine a day of boating with beach-combing and metal detecting. The trouble is that since the interesting times of Vikings, Jacobites and 19th Century shipwrecks there have been a couple of nasty world wars and a lot of practising with unpleasant munitions which tend to wash up on beaches.
