When using isopropyl alcohol for sealant prep
This is going to sound off because if you are preparing a surface for 3m 5200 white regular cure using isopropyl alcohol you would think there would be nothing left over to interfere with the curing process. I used isopropyl alcohol on 2 surfaces, wood and plastic to bond together. Then I read the technical specs on 3m 5200 white fast cure and it says don't use isopropyl alcohol because it stops the cure. My question is has anyone prepared a surface using isopropyl alcohol and then applying 3m 5200 white regular cure and had a problem?

Maybe they mean don't clean the 3m 5200 after it's been applied with the isopropyl alcohol.
