Started on the problem of carrying the outboard with a caravan in tow. There is no room in the back of the disco due to the LPG tank. It isn't finished yet, but I'm happy with the result so far
. Materials used; bits from an old roof rack, a weightlifting bar and locking collars drilled and dropped into the rear bumper steel box, 2 heavy duty fence brackets, coach bolts and a piece of Oak. The idea is to load it at a low level and then raise with a winch and swing it into position. Everything is easily detachable and will only be used when towing caravan. The photos are pretty self explanatory.
