As said the MK11 version is a great improvement and still a simple effective setup

Yup Paul MK2 is much better and much sturdier - with the ratchet strap on its rock solid so I will try it out next time I'm out rather than leaving it for an emergency scenario.

So kaman will the mount stay in place then just attach the OB should it go all a bit pear shaped or is the whole sherbang going to be removed under normal use?

Very good job by the way and some good tips from sparerib and Si.
I could do with a kicker at the moment given my recent run of luck.

Hi Matt.
Idea is to put the auxiliary engine up front in the bow in its padding....

Keep the mount up there with it and should it be required take the wheel out of its mount put the bracket in and ratchet strap it then put the engine on.
I am a bit hesitant going out without a back up engine.
I'm sure your due a long run of hassle free Fribbing

Not quite a Beagle she's a Cocker Spaniel.
And she's nuts.
Loved jumping around in the Sib.
She was using it as a bouncy castle

Howdy guys. Yup happier with the bracket now.
Got the puppy the Friday after WWA.
She is quite a character!
Was hoping to get the Sib out this week but weather not looking favourable
Will see how it goes with puppy and boating - the Mrs and kids may not let / want me taking her to sea.
Seems that I'm more of an expendable asset than the dog!

Tried out the auxiliary engine bracket several times now and very happy with it.
Engine needs trimmed out in this video posted and needs the tiller extension too.
