building transom wheels?
Not sure if this is in the right section but I've been looking at transom wheels and they are a bit pricey, specially since my SIB isn't a high end one. I was thinking they wouldn't be too hard to build with a couple of pieces of aluminum U channel a couple of trolley wheels, and a ring pin or 2, maybe $30 worth of hardware at the local home improvement store.

People have made their own in the past. If your boat and engine combo is not too heavy it is pretty easy to do.
Not a complete idiot - some parts are missing.
