Trailer bunk carpet?

On amz, I bought bunk carpet of seasense, the carpet worked great. Glued to the treated 2x6's with 3M spray adhesive and then wrapped and stapled on the backside. Able to cover a 2x6 just right without cutting length wise. Seems to be same quality and durability as the stock bunks on a matched trailer.

You can consider CE Smith, It is a good product that I have used. This 20 oz marine bunk carpet is made with marine-grade and high-quality upholstery material that is heavy duty and can sustain an impact without visible abrasions and tears.

done the same as you put astro turf on the outer bunks cost me ten quid plus petrol so about £20 quid all in got the wood for the bunks of a neighbour cheers Andy for that the lower bunks for my sea kayak , still unsure if i should cut two \3 feet off the tongue and have more over hang at the back of the trailer have read your comments , still don't know what i want to do .Want to use my sea kayak after an 8mm tear in my shoulder rotor cuff after a fall at loch doon ,Good for kayaking ,hard to find a place to get a sib down \ fishing's free ,saw a few brownies and two Osprey's swooping down and taking the fish of the top of the water at the top off the loch end as you come in its around trip of around 11 miles on the kayak loved it till i fell on to a granite out flow .Sorry to go of subject ,oopsi

I upgraded my worn-out and damaged bunker carpet by CE Smith carpets for the boat trailer bunk. Interestingly, it is made out of 100% PET polyester, which makes its fabric breathable. Therefore, the carpet can quickly dry even after loading and launching my boat. Worrying about nasty mildew and mold on my bunk boards becomes a thing of the past.
