Looks good, but I think you will need a light board and a bright coloured bag on the prop to be completely road legal 👍

:thumbsup Nice mod, I did something similar, but as Paul B says it ain't legal :busted ... easy enough fix to add a couple of removable brackets to the bottom of the carrier for a lightboard behind the engine. you won't need a different bag if the prop is behind the board. :respect

Hi and :welcome to the forum Timo
Blootac, a member on here carried his OB in a similar fashion.
I'm no expert and take it you transport as per this image
5477BA72-B92B-45CE-8106-732328938AAE.jpg
Within the 1M over-hang, lights are visiable and reg plate visible :thumbsup however the reg plate is unlit
Spray/wrap/hang something bright to draw attention to your over-hang though (stop the 'tailgaters' wrecking your OB) would be my only observation :|
Like it 8-) and anything that suits your 'needs' to go boating is alright by me ohyeh
Good to have you aboard
:cheers

Spotter alert!! If the set up pictured is only used in daylight hours it is perfectly legal as long as the overhang does not exceed 1 metre. No need for markers etc. Between sunset and sunrise, as Paul stated the number plate has to be illuminated.

Saves you a few quid if you don't need it though...... I do like a bargain :clappy. It wouldn't suit myself as I prefer to do distance at night :drive but each to their own :thumbsup

Construction and use regs need some severe updating, they’re out of date along with many laws of today.

As you say it’s legal for daylight running, but for the price of a light board £30 ish I’d rather have it on, and it might just be the difference between some numpty running or not into your outboard
