As Martin says we're always interested and want to be made aware of any issues members may experience :D
Was there any particular Smilie you had difficulty using :?: so we can investigate

I was having a quick play around and found that if a space isn't between a word or any script the Smilies won't work/appear ........ could this possibly have been your issue, just a thought mate :|
I took a screen shot of the preview to demonstrate

Thanks once again for your input

The issue with smileys/emoticons are when members try to use a none forum smiley.
I.e., a phone (android,windows,iOS) smiley.

Thanks for letting us know your sorted.

Would it be possible to use the built in smileys etc from our phones or is that a very big task to sort,

Is there a problem with the "Preview" Button?
A couple of time I've used this to check my reply before posting and the page is lost.
Not every time, but you can bet your hat it happens when I don't copy the post first.....lol

Unfortunately not, they are completely different platforms.

It has been said on a previous post but not too sure where lol, if there's a specific smiley you want and you can screen shot it, I'll do my best to find a matching emoticon and upload it to the forum for future use.

Never be afraid to ask guys, we'll accommodate whatever we can (within reason ) :?

ADMIN EDIT..
The new software now incorportes the use of mobile phone/pads/tablets available smilies/emoticons
