Hi Martin..
Is it possible for Admin or the user to change their login username ?

When I first logged into this forum I had no idea that it was so friendly and that people generally used their own names as username, so i used my usual anonymous login username.

Is this possible ?

Ladies & Gents....
Some of you will be aware of the silly childish games that have been brought to the board by the above member...
Well I’m afraid to say after a long & drawn year, no matter what we tried with this chap, he just rebelled at every opportunity.
Each of the mods have tried to speak & reason with him, I have tried in PM many times, often receiving personal insults in reply...
We've bent over backwards to accommodate his requests but nothing seems to please him.
He has, over the year had various warnings for posting private messages on the main board, posting insulting/racist/sexist and various other comments/actions - to the point where he gained his 3rd and final warning on Sunday.
Today, Andy has once again posted a moderators "Private Warning Message" onto the main live board.
With Immediate effect, Andrew, along with his "various other member login names" (3 in total) have been banned from the forum.... Andy has “tried” using multiple techy wizardry tricks to fool us – all of which failed as the techy wizardry at this end operates a much higher performance wand.

We as a team have discussed this members antics many times, Our “three strikes and out” rule has been adhered to, and if anything- this chap has had about 12 lives but let’s not nit-pick…..
Nobody enjoys banning members, but regardless of his helpful posts, of which there were many, we can not and will not tolerate disruptive nonsense from members whose main aim is to cause problems within this very friendly and active community.
The disruptive and non-productive topics/posts will be gone through and deleted as required, nobody wants to see disgruntled pointless posts, especially if they have no informative gain.

i agree @harrison with what you say, his antics did make me laugh but you cannot keep pushing your luck and being disruptive with impunity . i will miss him but i fully understand why the result is what it is . as you said, sad news.

The frustrating thing is that when he was not being abrasive he was a great contributor.

The decision was discussed heavily within the Admin team and over a prolonged period and @Martin has correctly used the word "regrettably"; but at the same time the forum and all its members has/have to be protected to make it enjoyable for all without any hindrance from individuals.
