"bring your sib to Margate" is a tempter but when you get there you will find all the slipways are gated and you need to be a member of Thanet water user group @ £72 per year have insurance and only launch from some of the available slipways.
https://www.thanet.gov.uk/info-pages/water-users/
So dont rush down there on the off chance of wetting your sib.
Heading round the coast to Herne Bay wont do you much better either as they too now require you to pay Canterbury council a yearly membership for the gated slipways.

Wow, that’s an informative post .. thanks!
It seems to be heading that way at more and more locations, I agree with the insurance, but charging people to launch from beaches is a bloody joke. Public slipways are becoming a thing of the past.

Martin :cheers
F-RibsAndSibs.Com.... :whistle

I an not sure but if you manage to get your boat on the water I think the Council can go do one as the water belongs to Her Majesty. Dam Disgrace. It Ponged a bit though cos of the weed.
