Hi & Welcome aboard !
The seago’s are a popular brand and generally found to be of sturdy build.
The air deck is the air mat type floor with an inflatable keel, it’s not a high pressure V hull like the Honwave.
It’s the lighter floor design in regard to performance and agility but will keep you afloat without issue.

Enjoy the forum

Hi Martin
Thanks for reply that’s one of the things that’s been confusing me with regards to the floor, I haven’t picked the boat up yet, any thing I should look out for or test before handing my hard earned over ?
Thanks

If you want my honest opinion, the high pressure v floor Honwave is a better design, they handle the chop a whole load better.
The good thing about the air floor (mats) is the fact you can get a replacement mat should they puncture beyond repair, usually a lot cheaper than a v floor replacement.
Either way, looked after they shouldn’t get punctured.
As with any second hand sib, check the age, look at the joints for failed glue, ask the owner if you can check for leaks everywhere with soap/water spray.. if they’ve nothing to hide they won’t mind.
Valves can leak too so be sure to check them.
Don’t forget to look at the hull (underneath too) as well as inside.
The air floor usually has a hard piece section that sandwiches between the floor mat and the inflatable keel, either wood or plastic, it keeps the inflated keel in place and forced downward.

Awesome, 👍 been looking at the honwave they do look good, I’ve seen the boatworld air v hulls also, they look a tidy boat at a cheap enough price ,

Why would someone do that to a poor, defenceless boat? 😳😭
Not a complete idiot - some parts are missing.
