two man tender wanted

Post by colinhaste » 20 Feb 2016, 09:18

I am looking to acquire a two man or small light inflatable tender for using when at anchor.
I will need to be able to pull this onboard for storage on the fore deck of my Colvic Watson 25'6.
Needs to be second hand and in good condition.
I cannot afford to buy new.
Please contact me on the forum if you know of any for sale that you can recommend.
I notice that the one for sale in Oban has been sold sadly.
Thanks
Colin

Hi, Colin

My wee Compass Kudos would be just the job for you and I'm currently in Fife so reasonably close.

However, I first of all need to persuade Mrs B of the merits of forking out £5K or so for a bigger F-RIB and suitable propulsion!

Will keep in touch . . .

:cheers

Go on Roger you know it makes sense.
The sore bottom and ear ache will subside within a few days of purchase .
Just think of the years of good fun that lay ahead :drive

Just to be clear here, Gordon, does your comment about sore bottom and earache refer to it caused by the boat & engine,
or the missus?!

Hi Roger

Modern 4 stroke engines are pretty quiet so there should be no ear-ache if you go down that route for your propulsion .
Can't guarantee that your hind end ain't going to get sore in rough seas though - get a good cushion.

Hence the spanking and sore ears to which I refer is from the Missus.

Had a bad experience this week in a high speed motorway crash caused by a blown out tyre.
After a night on a spinal board and several ct scans it was determined that I had only torn ligaments and soft tissue damage - a dead arm caused by a trapped nerve.

My motto from this day forward - live each day as if it's your last.
That's my excuse for my purchase in the next few years when I upgrade my current set up :party

Never mind the wife Roger, get it bought, you know you want one really, plus you could already have a buyer for the kudos so it's win win, well apart from telling the wife

Hi Roger, have you decided if you are going to sell your tender yet, and if so could you tell me how much you would be looking for?
All the best
Colin
